ROYAL TOAST IN TEA.
The toast of " The King " was drunk in tea for the first time in history at the recent opening of the English and Scottish Joint Co-operative Wholesale Society's hugo tea warehouse in London. From statistics recently issued, it would appear that the consumption of tea in the British Isles averages six cups a day to every man, woman and child.
