CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING.

RESULTS AT RUAKURA.

[from our own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Sunday. The Hamilton Gun Club held the usual fortnightly shoot at Ruakura yesterday afternoon. The weather and visibility were perfect. Owing to counter activities there Mas not tha usual large number of shooters, but the standard of shooting was well maintained. Five nine-bird sweeps and a gimcrack shoot were held, with the following results:— First Sweep.—W. J. McMiken, C. Seddon. W. Percival and A. Aitken shot the possible and divided. Second sweep: W, J. McMiken, C. Seddon, H. Earle and L. Zimmerman shot the possible. Ou the shoot-off McMiken and Seddon again shot the possible and divided. Third sweep: C. Seddon, W. J. McMiken and Win. Aitken scored the possible. On the shoot-off McMiken gained first place, Soddon and Aitken tied for second. Fourth sweep: H. Earle, L. Zimmerman aud W. J. McMiken tied for first place with the possible and divided. Fifth sweep: C. Seddon, W. J. McMiken, E. Earlo and A. Aitken shot tlie possible and divided. Gimcrack, six birds: L. Zimmerman and H. Earlo shot tho possible and divided.
