The Dunedin Jockey Club's Winter Meeting win concluded today. The weather was showery, and I lie track was heavy as a result of rain and snow the previous day. The attendance wns moderate. Tile totnlisator handled £12,221 for the day, compared with £17,550 for the third day last year, making a total for the meeting of £41.783. compared with £(',0.804 last year. Results were:—

The Dunedin Steeplechase to-day provided a sensation. After the throe best-supported candidates Snowfall. West Dome and Radiac fell at the aamo fence a mile from home. Kapuna and Tunamoe went on to fight out the contest. They raced abreast for practically Ihe remainder of the journey, and jumped the last fence together. Kapuna bore out Tunamoe during a neck to neck finish Tho rider of tho latter had recourse to uso his whip twice on Kup una. to keep, him from crowding his mount, outside the fence, and tho outcome was that Kapuna gained a head verdict.
