CRICKETERS IN ENGLAND.
NEW ZEALAND'S BOWLING. Writing to a friend in Auckland, E. H. Bowley, foi' three seasons coach to tho Auckland Cricket Association, said he was pleased to note the province's fine representation in the New Zealand team, also that of the young Canterbury players. He considered tho New Zealand bowling would bo stronger than on the previous tour. Bowley takes his benefit this season, having selected the match against Middlesex on August 1, 3 and 4. He predicted a good season for his county, Sussex, and thought it would finish well up on the list. Dulecpsinhji was very keen- as the new captain. Harold Gilligan did not intend to play much. J. Langridgo had just arrived back from Kimberley at the timo of writing. He had a very successful season's coaching, but ho preferred New Zealand to South Africa. Bowley, Langridge and G. It. Cox sent their kind regards to all Auckland friends.
