MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE
TWO YOUTHS SENTENCED. FOUR YEARS AND FLOGGINGS. (Received May* 23. 8.15 p.m.') MELBOURNE, May 25. Two youths, Allen Ward and Leslie Lewis, of Coburg, were convicted to-day of manslaughter and sentenced to four years' imprisonment, each to receive a flogging of 20 strokes with the birch. Tho two accused so severely assaulted Arthur Head, aged 16, as he was on his way homo from a church fete that he died.
