Mr. J. D. S. Fleming, formerly chief engineer on the cable steamer Iris, who retired at the end of February after 28 years' service with the Pacific Cafrio Board, left by the Remuera on Saturday for England, accompanied by -Mrs. Fleming. They will live in Scotland.
