PERTH HOUSES UNROOFED.
SWAN RIVER OVERFLOWS.
(Received May 10. 5.5 p.m.) PERTH. May 10.
The city of Perth was swept on Friday night by a terrific north-west gale. Many houses were unroofed by the wind, which reached a velocity of 60 miles an hour. Tho water rose in the Swan River and low-lying areas were flooded.
