SYDNEY ORDNANCE STORES. QUESTION TO MINISTER. CANBERRA.' April 17. In the Senate, Mr. W. L. Duncan (Independent) , asked if it was a fact that an investigation by the Ordnance Department in Sydney 'had recently revealed that 18 machine-guns had been stolen from stores, and-also whether police officers armed with warrants had searched certain Sydney stores.
The Assistant-Minister of Works, -Mr. J. B. Dooley, asked for notice of the question.
