KING OF SIAM.
ARRIVAL IN CANADA. HEALTH MUCH IMPROVED. (Received April 17, 0.25 p.m.) VANCOUVER. April 16. King Prajadhipok and Queen Rambai Harm of Siam and their entourage, arrived at Victoria this evening, and were welcomed by Federal and piovincial official!? and naval and military officers.
Tho King's health has much improved. He had contracted a chill. All the entertainments arranged in his honour in Victoria and Vancouver have been cancelled.
His Majesty will leave Vancouver'for New York at midnight on Friday.
Tho Empress of Japan, on which the King travelled, established a new transpacific record by crossing in about 7 days 19 hours from Yokohama. Her previous record was eight hours longer.
