A LIVELY MEETING.
MR. J. T. LANG AT ADELAIDE.
PUBLIC RUSH THE HALL. ADELAIDE. April 17. An attendance of 3000 people packed the Exhibition Hall by six o'clock in the evening to'hear the Premier of New South Wales, Mr. J. T. Lang, defend his policy of repudiation. A strong body of police failed to stem the rush on the gates and about 200 people who besieged the shut doors were with difficulty -forced out of the grounds. A few minutes after the opening of the meeting a man threw a bunch of daisies on to the stage. Concealed in the flowers was a "stink bomb." The police immediately suppressed inlcrjcctors and diagged them out.
