MODERN BABIES.
Modern babies at ITomo no longer have curtains round their cots, as they aro considered unhealthy. But one baby, wo aro told, has a delightful screen, made by his mother out of an ancient clothes horse. It was gaily painted, and right across it was stretched a pretty, gay cretonne as a curtain. In this way the baby was enabled to get the fresli air and at tho same time, his privacy.
