"HOUSE THAT JACK BUILT."
Owing to the success "of the J. C. Williamson pantomime "The House That Jack Built," it will be presented at His Majesty's Theatre at a matinee performance to-morrow afternoon as well as this afternoon. To-morrow evening will be tho last opportunity Auckland theatregoers will have of seeing the production. The large cast of players includes many talented artists, prominent among whom is Jim Gerald, who created great enthusiasm by his splendid comedy work in "The New Moon," and who is said to be even funnier in the pantomime as Dame Barleycorn. Then thero are Roy Reno, a humorous typo of the farmer's boy and the owner of an amazing wardrobe; Amy Rochelle, a smart and dapper "principal ooy," with a delightful voice; Phil Smith, who fits splendidly into a full-sized policeman's uniform; and the Paulesto brothers, who together make up a complete) cow—the legendary lady of the Crumpled Horn, who, it fs said, gives an all. but human expression to her bovine features, making her wink and laugh according to her moods. Other artists arc dainty and. delightful Nell Taylor, as tho principal -girl; the charming Kathleen Goodall, as tho fairv queen; and the sterling comedian, Nick Morton, as Farmer Barleycorn.
