LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
WABIAUKU. A meeting of the Waimauku League of Mothers took place last week, the president, Sirs. T. Charter, presiding over a good attendance. Sirs. Charter gave_ a reading suitable for the approaching Easter season and sang " There is a Green Hill." It was announced that Sirs. A. M. Ferguson, provincial president, and Dr. Hilda Northcroft will be the speakers at next month's meeting. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Sirs. C. Fletcher, Sirs. George Wightman and Sirs. R. Hagan. GREY LYNN. The president of the Grey Lynn League of Slothers, Sirs. Ilynes, presided over a good attendance of members at their meeting on Thursday afternoon in the Baptist Schoolroom, Richmond Avenue. The subject, " Boys and Girls in Their Teens," was ably dealt with by Rev. L. B. Busfteld, wlio stressed the need of courtesy and modesty in the home and advised parents to show not only a sympathetic interest in their children but also a sympathetic attitude toward their present-clay outlook. Much interest was displayed 'in the address, which evoked many questions which were helpfully answered by Sir. Buslield. TON SON BY. The I'onsonby League of Mothers met at the Leys Institute last week and Sirs. English, president, who has lately returned from a world tour, was the speaker. After describing the town _of Oberammergau, Bavaria, and explaining the origin of the " Passion Play Sirs. English gave an exceedingly interesting and vivid description of the play \ocal solos wore rendered by Miss Gwenda Weir and were much appreciated. Afternoon tea brought an enjoyable meeting to a close.j
