BIBLE CAMP AT HUNUA.
BOYS FROM AUCKLAND CITY. PRESBYTERIAN GATHERING. The chief visitor to the annual camp of the Auckland district, New Zealand Presbyterian Young Men's Bible Class Union, at present being held at Hunua, is the Kev. H. Davies, M.A., the union's foreign missionary, who is home on furlough from China. On Friday, Mr. G. Grieve, chairman of the Auckland district committee, presented Mr. Davies with the Dominion president's badge of the union, an ofhco to which he was recently elected.
The camp commenced on Thursday evening, and 180 boys from Auckland city and surrounding districts will be under canvas until to-morrow. Holy Communion was celebrated at the camp on Good Friday by tho Rev. D. D. Scott, of Onchunga, and there followed a Good Friday service conducted by Mr. Davies. Tho junior games competition was held in the morning, and the swimming sports in the afternoon.
On Saturday the athletic sports meeting was held, the Don 'niotr Shield, Coltman Cup and junior bam, >r beifig the trophies in competition. The Sunday morning ser. vice was conducted by the Rev. J, H. Coombes and the evening service by the Rev. H. Davies. 'The annual meeting of the Auckland District Committee, will be held to-day and camp will be struck tomorrow.
The officers controlling the camp are:— Camp "father." Mr. Koss McKenzic; camp committee, Messrs. N. P. Angus (chairman), J. Graham, and K. W. McKinney.
