NOVELTY CROQUET.
In conjunction with the local Bowling Club the Papatoetoe Croquet Club held a novelty afternoon yesterday in aid of the earthquake relief fund. There was a large attendance of members and friends, who competed in novelty games for prizes donated by members of the club. The winners were as follows * Crazy croquet, Mrs Daisley; target, Mrs. Foster; ladder, Miss -Runciman; golf, Mrs. Wilson; French croquet, Mrs. G. Runciman; brake, Mrs. Treguar.
