SPORTS AT PUKEKOHE.

MAUKU WINS CHAMPIONSHIP. [from our own correspondent.] PUKEKOHE. Thursday. Th© Franklin Primary Schools Athletic Association's annual eports were held at rukekoho to-day under perfect weather conditions. About 800 children wero present from tho Pukekohe, Bombay, Buckland. Paerata, Patumahoo, Mauku, Pukekohe East, Puni and Waiau Pa schools, all of which were represented in practically every event. Many parents were present and generally the outing took tho form of a picnic. Tho proceeds aro to bo contributed to the earthquake relief fund. The championship cup for the school gaining tho greatest number of pointß was won by Mauku, with Pukekohe second.
