DIXIELAND CABARET.
A most successful dance was held at D! .eland on Saturday evening. The table* in (.lie alcoves were arranged with pink and mauve asters and brightlycoloured zinnias, and the soft lights overhead looked most attractive. The Cabaret Band under Mr. IT. Neilson played the latest dance numbers. »
Among those present were: Mrs. M. Goodman, who wore a frock of rose du barri satin ; Mrs. U. Knight, salmon pink georgette; Miss Molly Simmons, powder blue taffeta; Miss Reston, pink georgette; M iss Walrie, black satin beaute; Miss Wroath, (lowered taffeta; Miss Phyllis Hayson, amber and green satin beauto; Miss Phyllis Peet, buttercup georgette; Miss Lornu de Lough (Sydney), black net frock; Miss M. Kay, pink moire taffeta and not; Miss M. Goldwater, ivory satin and i)et; Miss Palmer, floral taffeta; Miss Ola JJaster, pervanche blue and silver lace; Miss Richardson, ravenswing blue crepe georgette; Miss Isabel McGinloy, floral ninon; Miss E. Hill, salmon pink frilled taffeta; Miss Mavis Dye, while lace and satin; Miss M. Nelson, black lace frock; Miss Cilling,.Lido blue taffeta and lace; Miss 11. McCarthy, (lame satin; Miss B. Smith, gold lame and lace.
