The combined Poverty Bay Turf Club and Gisborne Racing Club meeting in aid of the earthquake relief fund concluded today. The weather was fine and the course was fnst. Charmaline was first to show out, followed by Singleton, Autumina and Autumn Sun. At the half-mile Charmaline was leading Autumn Sun and Valsier by two lengths. Charmaline enteref. the straight in front of Autumn Sun, Valsier and Singleton and in the run home Singleton failed to reach Charmaline by a. ha-ro # nose, with Autumn Sun a length away third. Autumina was fourth. Time, lm 3'.) 4-ss.
