SYDNEY. March 11. . A further drift, of £1,922,000 is revealed in a return of the Commonwealth's finances for February.
The expenditure for the eight months of the financial year has exceeded the revenue by £13,409,000. The expenditure of New South Wales for the eight months exceeded the revenuo by £6,826,852. In Western Australia the receipts in the same period were £5,291,507 and the expenditure £6,509,022.
