ACCIDENT ENDS FATALLY.
MOTORS IN COLLISION. DEATH OF A PASSENGER. [by TELEGRAM. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Tuesday. The death occurred in the Waikato Hospital this morning of Mr. James Snadon, aged 66, of Grantham Street, Hamilton. Mr. Snadon was a passenger in a motorcar driven by Mr. Alfred Hedges, of Hamilton, which was involved in a collision with another car driven by Miss Maud Johanson, of Waihou, on the main Thames-Hamilton road near To Aroha, on Saturday. Mr. Hedges' car was overturned twice and Mr. Snadon and another passenger, Mrs. Sullivan, were injured. Mrs. Sullivan's injuries were not serious, but Mr. Snadon was admitted to the Waikato Hospital in a critical condition.
An inquest concerning the death was opened before tho coroner, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., to-day, and was adjourned.
