GIRLS OF TWO SCHOOLS.
BOARD IN ONE HOSTEL. AN OFFER REJECTED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Tuesday. The attitude of opposition taken up by two members of the Hamilton School Board of Governors at its meeting on Friday toward the application of the Technical High School Board of Managers for accommodation at the High School girls' hostel for five Technical School pupils is resented by mombers of the Technical School Board,
At tho meeting of the last-named board last evening the chairman, Mr. W. H. Paul, described the remarks of the High School Board members as unfair and undignified. Pupils of both types of school were accommodated in the one hostel in other towns, and the arrangement had proved satisfactory. Tho following resolution was passed:— " Timt owing to the attitude taken up by several membors of the Hamilton High School Board of Governors the time is not opportune to accept the offer to send any of the Technical School pupils to tho High School hostel."
