high court case ends. MELBOURNE. Jan. 22. In the High Court to-day the hearing was concluded of the appeal brought by the Attorney General of New South Wales, Mr. A. A. Lysaght, and others, against the decision of the Full Court of the State, which luld that the bill to abolish the Legislative Council could not be presented to th<- Governor for the King s assent until a referendum had been taken. Th# Court was adjourned sine die.
