MR. J. T. LANG.

LOAN COUNCIL AGAIN. DENIAL OF APPLICATION. SYDNEY. Jan 22. The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. J. T. Lang, to-day denied that he had appealed to the Loan Council for financial assistance. He said Mr. J. A. Lyons' recollection of what had taken place at the meetings of the council seemed to bo at fault.

In the Legislative Council Mr. Lang said it was not proposed to proceed furthei on the recent vote of censure on Messrs. T. R. Bavin and B. S. Stevens.
