POLICE COURT NEWS.
CHARGE OF THEFT. A charge of stealing a suit, of clothes, valued at £6. was preferred against Frederick Bernard Boberts, aged 42, carpenter (.Mr. Aekins), in tlie Police Court yesterday, before Mr VV. II Woodward, S.M. It was stated that accused had arrived from England recently, nnd was suffering from (lie effects of liquor He was remanded to appear next Thursday "Accused (;avc himself up, as he said he had committed some irregularity," said Detective-Sergeant Kelly, when Michael Albert Quinn, aged 50, labourer, appeared on a charge of being idle and disorderly. Accused was remanded for h week for medical observation.
