CUT CAUSES DEATH.
Cutting a small spot on his face while shaving, William Heslop, aged 22, a miner at Ashington, Northumberland, was lately taken ill and died in hospital, despite two operations. A doctor said that death was caused by toxine due to cellilitus of the face. It might have been due to the razor or a spot on the face being cut. Such a thing could happen to a healthy man, but it would be exceptional.
