YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—A light south-west breeze and fine jyeather again prevailed yesterday. The bnrometer last evening was steady at 30.05 in. Wellington.—ln contrast to the bright sunshine of Sunday, the skies were clouded over in Wellington yesterday, and driving mists came over the hills. Th« wind was from the north. The day was warm.
Christchurch.—The weather was pleasant yesterday, with a breeze from the northeast and a cooler temperature, the maximum being 68 degrees. The. barometer, which fell steadily all day, had a, rising tendency in the evening, the reading being 29.78 in.
Dunedin.—The weather wan fine and pleasant yesterday, with a light wind from the south-west. The maximum temperature was 78 degrees. The barometer was fairly steady, the reading in the evening being 29-80 in.
