CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—A light south-west breeze and fine jyeather again prevailed yesterday. The bnrometer last evening was steady at 30.05 in. Dunedin.—The weather wan fine and pleasant yesterday, with a light wind from the south-west. The maximum temperature was 78 degrees. The barometer was fairly steady, the reading in the evening being 29-80 in.
