REDUCED RATES OPPOSED.
DECISION AT SHANNON.
[BX TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday.
Eighty fiaxworkers at a meeting at Shannon this afternoon unanimously decided not to accept work for wages reduced by 33 1-3 per cent, as recently approved by the Arbitration Court after hearing a request from millers for that reduction in view of the depressed state of the industry.
