ROTORUA NOTES.
TENNIS OPENING. The official opening of the tennis courts of King Oeorgo V. Hospital took placo in brilliant sunshine recently. Dr. L. A. Lewis, president of the club, formally declared the courts open for play, after which the guests took part in a progressive tournament, arranged by Miss Snodgrass, tho club captain. The winners woro Mis. J. D. Davys and Mr. E. Robinson. A putting competition was held on a nine-hole miniaturo golf course, Mrs. Goudie, and Dr. S. Hay boing tho winners. Afternoon tea was served in the mess room by the nurses, with Miss Brown and Miss Llewellyn in charge. Mrs. S. Hay, of Fenton Street, has been visiting the South Island. Mrs. C. Hitchcock, who has been visiting her sister in Marlon, has returned to Rotorua.
M iss D. Andrews, of Wellington, is visiting Mrs. Hitchcock, of Ilcrcwini Street.
