AEROPLANE LAUNCHER.

NEW CATAPULT DEVICE. BRITISH EXPERTS* SUCCESS. LONDON*, Nov. 10. Experts attached to the Air Ministry have perfected a portable catapult for shooting aeroplanes into the air, obviating tho necessity for large aerodromes. They successfully launched a Fairey Napier bomber in a space of 30 yards. Wheel brakes on the machine enabled tho pilot, io land within tho same distance. A combination of inventions, and the fact that the catapult can bo packed up so that it can bo transported in a motor-lorry, will increase tho mobility of lighting aeroplanes with armies, especially where aerodromes do not exist.
