COLLAPSE IN CHURCH.

RESIDENT OF TE AWAMUTU.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN COrtnESrONDF.NT.] TE AWAMUTXJ, Monday. The death of Mr. Albert J. W. Johnston, retired postmaster, occurred while ho was attending morning service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Te Awamutu, yesterday. He had been in the church only a few minutes when other worshippers noticed him fall back in his scat. Ho was removed to the vestry, and attended by a doctor who was in the congregation, but died in a few minutes. Mr. Johnston, who was 65 years of age, was postmaster at To Awamutu until about 10 years ago, when ho retired on superannuation, and continued to livo in the town. Ho leaves a wife, two sons, Messrs. Leslie and Oswald Johnston, and one daughter, Miss Freda Johnston.
