MEAT PUFFS.

Half a pound of flaky pastry, cf cooked meat—pressed beef and ham is a good mixture—two medium-sized potatoes, ono carrot, one onion, salt and pepper, a sprig of parsley and thyme. Chop tho herbs finely. Peel and grate the vegetables. Put the meat through a mincer and mix all the, ingredients together; moisten with a dessertspoonful of gravv. Roll out tho pastry, lino patty pans with half of it. Put in tho mixture, cover with pastry, make a hole in the top, brush over with beaten egg. and bake in .1 hot oven. Before serving pour a little gravy in the holes at the top.
