NEW GAMES IN MAYFAIR.
One has heard much less of freak parties this year, and treasure hunts have descended to the nursery, but Mayfair has a new game called " Bets," says a writer. You merely challenge one of your more high-spirited friends to do something odd, funny or daring—and then roil up to see what he or she actually does. This, explains the appearance the other night, of a. bright young man walking through London's most exclusive restaurant carrying under his arm, absolutely unashamed, a largfs homely hotwater bottle. For this he won several surprised stares and a small prize.
