What it. means " cutting out " everything that is not strictly necessary—if I am to " keep the home fires burning." What a " lost soul " 1 feel if I get home and find the house empty. What it. means to a fellow to have someone who believes in him. What a priceless ass I feel when she " cracks me up " before people. How I rely on her understanding when things go wrong at the office and 1 arrive home like a bear with a sore head. How sorry 1 am when I "go off the deep end "—by mistake. How " bucked " I feel when I am oddjobbing if fche comes along and says "how well" I am doing it!
