TO BRIGHTEN GILT FRAMES.
To brighten gilt frames put half a pound of flowers of sulphur, together with tlio outer skins of several onions, in a, quart of water. Let it boil down to a pint, strain, and let cool. When cold enough brush over the gilt frames with the solution, using a fine paint brush, and they will look equal to new..
