Mr. H. J. Wynne and Mr. G. Wyles, of Wellington, are at the Star. Hotel. '
Mr. John Fuller, wlio has lieen in Auckland on business, left for Wellington last evening.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Bourke, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. H. Haldane, of Hastings, are at the Central Hotel.
Mr. B. L. Perse, of London, Mr. C. Parker, of Wellington, and Mr. F. Good, win, of Gisborne, are at the Royal Hotel.
Mr. Justice Herdman will leave for Hamilton to-morrow evening to open a sitting of the Supreme Court there on Monday.
Mr. J. Watanabe, representative of a large Japanese shipping firm, accompanied by Mr. E. Felton, of Sydney, returned t.o Auckland from the South yesterday. They are at the Grand Hotel.
The Rev. W. E. Lush, of Parnell, has been appointed vicar of the parochial district of Stanley Bay. He will be instituted by Archdeacon G. Mac Murray, vicargeneral of the diocese of' Auckland, in St. Augustine's Church, to-morrow evening.
