PRESENTS FOR CHILDREN.
WELLINGTON STREET APPEAL. [IIY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Friday. In a street appeal to-day for money to assist in the purchase of Christmas presents for children in the Wellington and Hutt orphanages, homes and hospitals tho Commercial Travellers , and Warehousemen's Association collected about £4OO. The appeal was more successful than last year's effort.
