TRAIN DERAILED.
CRASH INTO SAND DRIFT. Dining a blinding duststorm on November 3 a goods train crashed into a sand drift 40 miles from Menindio, New South Wales, and the tender was derailed. A motor-tricycle carrying a breakdown gang to the spot was bulled from the rails by a similar obstacle J and two men were injured. One suffered a fracture of the pelvis and internal injuries and the other had his collarbone and several ribs fractured. They both lay at a siding for 11 hours.
