METHODIST SYNOD.

SOUTH AUCKLAND DISTRICT. THREE DAYS' SESSION. [BT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.'] HAMILTON, Thursday. Tho annual synod of the South Auckland section of the Methodist Church of New Zealand will bo opened at St. Paul's Church, Hamilton, next Tuesday, and will continuo for three days. The Rev. W. A. Burlcy, of Thames, will preside. Tho programme of synod is as follows":—Tuesday: .9 a.m., ministerial committee; 8.30 p.m., inspirational meeting; speakers, tho Rev. F. G. Brown, of Morrinsville, and Sister Rita, of Te Kuiti. Wednesday: 8.30 a.m., committee on Home Mission grants; 9.15 a.m., civic reception; 9.30 a.m., representative session; 7.30 p.m., Communion service. An address will bo given at tho Communion service by tho Rev. G. R. Taylor, of Taamarunui. Thursday: 9 a.m., representative session. A number of probationers and candidates for tho ministry will be examined.
