Makin, ruled g out of order the motion moved by the 4 Leader of the Opposition, Mr. J. G. y Latham, for the suspension of Mr. E. G. Theodore. Later Mr. Latham asked: "Is the _ acting-Prime Minister, Mr. J. E. Fenton, prepared to take action to amend the d Standing Orders to enable the House to '* protect its honour and dignity in the * case of members being found guilty of T fraud, dishonesty and corruption ?" Mr. Fenton declined to answer a ques- • tion couched in such terms.
