In tho House of Commons 10-day the Prime Minister, Mr. Mac Donald, said t!ie Wliito Paper on Puleatiiio issued after (ho receipt of the Hope-Simpson report, had given rise to some misunderstanding and had been misinterpreted in somo of its essential points. Therefore tho Government did not intend to proclaim ordinances before discussing the White Paper in tho llouso. The Government intended to carry out its obligations under the mandate to both sections of the population in Palestine.
