EMPIRE AIR ROUTE.
SINGAPORE TO AUSTRALIA. QUESTION OF DEVELOPMENT. (Received November 13. 8.5 p.m.) SINGAPORE. Nov. 13. Air Marshal Sir John Salmond has arrived at Singapore after an inspection of tho aerodromes between here and Calcutia. Sir John said he bad no idea when England and Australia would be linked tip by a working air route. It was for the Australian Government to develop the route between Singapore and Australia.
