DANCE AT SYMONDSVILLE.

A CHARMING SETTING. The Symondsville Cabaret looked very attractive last evening when a dance was held by the Auckland Pekinese Dog and Persian Cat Society. Cherry blossom interlaced with lycopodiuin made a charming setting for the pretty frocks and shaded lights added to the note of colour. For those who preferred bridge, tables were arranged in the supper room and excellent music was provided for the dancers by the Snappy Six orchestra. During the evening songs by Miss J. Bailey, Miss N. Lingard and Mr. H. Baxter were greatly enjoyed. Among those present were: —Mrs. S. A.
