BAND CHAMPIONSHIP.
CONTEST IN FEBRUARY. RECORD NUMBER OF ENTRIES. [BY TELEGRArn. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Friday. For the New Zealand championship band contest, to be held in Wellington from February 23 to 28 next, record entries have been received, and there will be 34 bands competing, with.more than 1000 bandsmen. Entries have been received from all parts of tho Dominion.
