OTAHUHU TROTTING NOTES. MARIONETTE IN WORK AGAIN. Track work nt Otahuhu this week has been confined chiefly to medium-pace exercise, but the majority of the horses are in forward condition in view of the coming ' Auckland meeting. J. Cutis has recommissioned Marionette, who is in pood order after her spell. Cutis is also working a maiden trotter, who is half-brother (by Peter Moko) to Marionette. • Realty, who has been absent from, the tracks for somevtime, has again joined the active brigade. He bears a visry brijrht appearance and apparently has done well during his holiday. Lucy Belle (Groat) was not bustled in an effort over several circuits, but in an occasional sprint she turned on a fair amount of speed. Judy Thorpe (Grirnmond), who looks well, was indulged in strong work ovej several circuits. She should show improved form the next time she is asked to race. Display by Sebisca. - Except for one break, Sebisca (Mitchell) gave a finished display of trotting over » couple of circuits on the grass. Bebisc» is in great heart. The filly by Marble Star from Ivy Dean, dam of Dean Dillon and Ivy Audubon, is making good progress with her education. She has a nice action, but has not yet been asked for anything serious. Some Dillon (Grimmond) was sent ovtr a wile and a-half by himself. Ho has not been in long, but is coming to hand quickly, and the manner in which he executed his task augurs well for his future prospects. Stanmoor and Gold Sovereign (Paton) * were worked over a mile and a-quarter. They did not have right on, but Gold Sovereign went solidly and Stanmoor paced with plenty of determination. . Hal Chimes (Paton) and Rockburn were companions in sound work over n mile and a-half. Rockburn especially- pleased by his efrort. Master Huia (Grimmond) went inpleasing style over a mile on the grass. He has improved lately and may yet regain his old form. Progress ol Sunshower. Sunshower, driven by T. P. Grimmond. gave an impressive display over two miles on the grass, Sho has benefited by her racing last month. . Great Ballin (J, G. Robertson) and Lady Yvonne started from tho two-miles peg, but Great Ballin was slow to move and was inclined to mix his gait.. At the end of 12 furlongs he was pulled off and Lady Yvonne went on to complete thS two miles, infusing plenty of dash into the last half-mile. ' Reliance (Gilliard) set off from the mile and a-half peg. After half a mile had been covered ho was joined by Trustworthy (G. Brady) and they raced in close company throughout. All Special (Gilliard) was sent at a sound clip over a distance,' All Special showed, a tendency to leave her feet and is not trotting as solidly us she did last season. Gold .Realm (Paton) had the ?najdonpacer by Norm ins ton —ltoina to assist her in ' sound work over several circuits. Gold" Realm trotted solidly and pleased by her effort. « TROTTING FIXTURES.
