The former, which include toy vehicles of various kinds, miniature tool sets and beautifully-dressed dolls, were bought, by tlie girls with their own voluntary contributions, while the delightful and interesting scrap-books have been made at the weekly meetings. Reading books and various children's evening games were also provided by the, girls, while to complete each parcel home-made sweets, bon bolts and' balloons aro included. Tho packing of the parcels commenced last evening, in preparation for sending those intended for the northern lighthouses by the Matai early next weekThe parcels for tho east coast will be despatched by launch at tho beginning of December.
