EMPLOYMENT AS CLERKS. REVOLUTIONARY CHANGE. So far Egyptian girls have only been (employed by the State in purely technical posts such as telephonists and assistants in the hospitals, where they work either with or under women. It has now been decided to replace the male clerks in the Infant/ Welfare centres, which are tinder female direction, by Egyptian girls possessing secondary education certificates.
