DANGEROUS DRIVING.
ELDERLY WOMAN CHARGED. DISQUALIFIED FOR TWO YEARS. [bt telegraph.—PßESS ASSOCIATION'.] NELSON, Friday. A case carne beforo the Magistrate's Court this morning in which a woman, aged 64, was charged with driving a motor-car in a manner dangerous to the public. Defendant drove out of a garage, went right across the road, and ran into another car. The only statement defen lant could advance was that she lost her head. The police suggested that defendant had reached a stage when she was not capable of driving a car. Defendant was convicted, her licence was suspended until May 31, and she was disqualified from driving for two years.
