A proposal that only bulls from dams with C.O.R. or Government O.H.T. certificates, or from darns undergoing test for such certificates, should lie offered at the Franklin Jersey Club's annual sale of bulls was debated at. a meeting of the club at Pukekoho to-day. An amendment that the time was not opportune for putting such .1 proposal into operation was carried. A motion was adopted:—"That the club views with concern the action of the Government in curtailing the work of the Agricultural Department by reducing tho vote for the department by £66,000."
