CIVIL ENGINEERS.
At the quarterly meeting ol tho Auckland branch of the New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers last evening Mr. D. Holderness presided over a good attendance. A paper on the cement penetration work being carried out on the Albany Road was submitted by Mr. Andrew Murray, engineer of "tho Waitemata County Council, and a general discussion followed.
