In rej)ly to a statement regarding tho formation of the now Post and Telegraph Officers Guild, the chief postmaster at Invcrcargill stales that lie is not a, member of the guild and has no intention of joining it. JIo has no knowledge of tho activities of guild members in Southhind.
Of a total of 40 controlling officers in the Southland district, it is stated that 37, including tho chief postmaster, are definitely loyal to the Post and Telegraph Association.
